Singita Pamushana, Zimbabwe

If you are looking for a luxury safari lodge with stunning vistas, this is the place to be. Singita Pamushana is built atop a hill with a cliff-side overlooking a large lake and features some of the most amazing views I’ve seen!

Pamushana is a great option for small groups traveling on safari together. The rooms are private and there are a variety of options to suit couples and families. The main lodge and pool area offer several great spots for hanging out together enjoying the views, a refreshing cocktail, or a meal under the stars.

The rooms themselves have options for families, couples and small groups. The Family Suite has a nice, big living area and pool/outdoor deck along with 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The honeymoon suite is set off by itself from the other cottages and has incredible views of the lake and a plunge pool that feels like it is hanging off the side of the cliff. The 5-bedroom villa would be perfect for multi-generational families or a group of 2-3 families traveling together. Each room had its own en-suite bathroom, some with outdoor access.

The Ghonarezhou area is a beautiful landscape of rocky hills and cliffs, beautiful lakes, shady trees, and abundant wildlife.

The real draw for Pamushana is the rock art. Take a short game drive, followed by an easy hike up to the rocks and you’ll be rewarded with an up-close opportunity to see ancient rock paintings. Viewing these paintings is just so awe-inspiring!
